Niedawno czytałem artykuł w ‘’Newsweek’’ o cyberprzestępcach, którzy wysyłają do ludzi emaile z prośbą o pomoc w niezwykle trudnej sytuacji jaka ich spotkała.
Oczywiście w zamian deklarują chęć podziału zysków z zamrożonych przez ich krewnych pieniędzy, które pragną zainwestować akurat w naszym kraju. O ile we wspomnianym tygodniku nie zamieszczono podobnej korespondencji, o tyle ja pokusiłem się o odrobinę współczucia dla niejakiego Richarda Patricka i postanowiłem raz odpisać, ku pokrzepieniu serc.

Jak widzicie historia tego mężczyzny jest niezwykle pokrętna, ale nie beznadziejna, bo my filantropi możemy mu pomóc i zgarnąć niezłą sumkę.

It's shame that you have so difficult situation. I have compassion to you. I know this feeling, because i lost my father too when i was younger and no one didn't want to help me. Thank you for your immediate responce to my plight of help and trusteeship. I believed God has brought you to champion our destine, the most important thing is truth and confidence, to be guided with mutual respect and honesty between the two of us, according to the laws of nature.

Patrick przesłał mi więcej szczegółów na temat naszej współpracy z domieszką ekscytujących szczegółów otrucia jego taty przez jego kontrahentów. Oczywiście wytłuszczonym drukiem podał numer konta i dane banku w oczekiwaniu na dalsze kroki.

Niejeden z was puknie się w czoło i spyta kto taki może dać sobie wcisnąć kit tego typu.
Jednak to się zdarza i to nader często. Cyberprzestępczość kwitnie dzięki naszej naiwności albo niedostatecznym zabezpieczeniom naszych przeróżnych kont,  zbyt banalnych haseł, które można rozszyfrować. Mam nadzieję, że ten przykład będzie przestrogą dla tych mniej zorientowanych, którzy biegną z ‘’pomocą’’ zanim się zastanowią.
